Why has my bank feed stopped pulling through transactions?

Banking institutions require their clients to re-authenticate the consent for access to their bank accounts. Consent renewal will vary according to the bank, but a minimum of 90 days is required by Open Banking. The consent dates are shown in the bank feed finder which shows when consent expires and when the alert message is sent.

Just before the re-authentication is due, a consent renewal email will be sent to user(s) who are designated as responsible on the bank feed.

NB. Ensure that the re-connect is being processed by a user that has the appropriate permissions to export bank transactions. This requirement will vary from Bank to Bank (NatWest for example, require Third Party provider consents).

To re-connect :

  • navigate to the Bank feed finder screen

  • highlight the Bank Account you wish to re-connect

  • select the black down arrow button on 'Connect feed'

  • select 'Re-connect feed'

  • the connection to the bank will be made and sign in will be required in order to complete the process

NB. there is a waiting period required for the bank to re-connect. This can take up to 8 hours.
